"The comfort zone is a behavioural state within which a person operates in an anxiety-neutral condition, using a limited set of behaviours to deliver a steady level of performance, usually without a sense of risk. A person's personality can be described by his or her comfort zones.
Highly successful persons may routinely step outside their comfort zones, to accomplish what they wish. A comfort zone is a type of mental conditioning that causes a person to create and operate mental boundaries. Such boundaries create an unfounded sense of security.
Like inertia, a person who has established a comfort zone in a particular axis of his or her life, will tend to stay within that zone without stepping outside of it. To step outside their comfort zone, a person must experiment with new and different behaviours, and then experience the new and different responses that occur within their environment."
Do something out of your comfort zone this week, push yourself and embrace how good it feels when you accomplish it. You may not be great at that first go but it feels good to do something out of your boundaries and bubble.

It is so easy to let time pass and be constantly looking forwards rather than breathing and living in the here and now.
Appreciate what you have achieved today and be appreciate towards those you have around you.
Money and possessions don't define a persons character or bring them happiness and love.
Remember to be kind and thoughtful to those you care about. It's too easy to think that people are already aware.
One kind word can go a long way.

What a difference a couple of years can make.
The picture on the left is when I first started working in a gym and was chasing a six pack (2012).
The picture on the right was last October when I was chasing the ability to link toes to bar in a workout.
Don't get me wrong, I always look after my nutrition and eat as well as I can to fuel my performance. But in comparison to then, I eat more, I train less and I am far happier with my appearance and proud at what I can do.
Whilst confidence is a big part of self happiness, I believe it is important to set goals away from the mirror.
Build confidence through performance capabilities and accomplishments. I can't wait for the qualifiers of Battle of the Beasts this year and see how far I have come compared to last year.
