I get asked a lot about how much I train and what is involved in Crossfit. I get asked a lot less about what I eat and what is involved in being healthy.
People's perception is that exercising is the most challenging and hard aspect of "being in shape" and nutrition is just a part of it.
I have to have a lot more willpower and organisation to eat well than I do to leave the house and go and train. I pre-plan my week, I get up an hour early to prepare my food and I make sure that 90% of my meals are interesting and tasty.
Of course there are times when I get caught out, everyone does. But it is them times that I use myfitness pal (phone app) and make sure I don't deviate from my macros.
